Abandoned duck egg. Need help asap

Pics
I can't tell from the picture if it has started an active zip, or if it has just made a few pips, like ducks normally do.

If it has started zipping around the shell, then yes, it should keep going with only short pauses between breaks, and should complete within an hour or so. BUT if is hasn't fully started an active zip, then its not ready for assistance yet.

Hatching isn't hard..Timing needs to be right and if shell is drying out them assistance is needed. As all the experience people know..:p...Duckling needs to be ready. They have assisted many unready hatches so I'm sure can help you out...

I read the article and definitely feel a little more ready if I need to help it maybe 2 pips and not a zip. Will check again and try to get a better picture soon.
:thumbsup I think waiting is the best! I'm not against assisting, I just think it can wait for at least a few more hours.

Here are some new pictures. I can see the duckling actively pecking at the shell.
