Abandoned goslings

Please keep us updated on how they are doing. you could also try putting them in some warm water[supervised of course] just deep enough to float in. just a short bit maybe 5 min to start with, this will help them build muscle in their legs Make sure they get patted dry and put right back under heat lamp. and please not baking yeast, Brewers yeast.

Goslings should be on a water fowl feed specifically for water fowl.
Mazuri makes a water fowl feed.
Do not feed water fowl chick feed or a chick starter grower. It does not contain the proper nutrients a water fowl needs.

Horseandboots, Hi. Although waterfowl feed may be ideal, many folks can´t get hold of it, either because, like where I am, it doesn´t exist, or because the feedstore won´t get it in because there´s not enough demand. so, we have to improvise.
Chick crumb is fine if it´s not medicated, and we can add niacin to it, and it does the job. Of course, better than all of it is plenty of good grass.

Wow! Some of these feed stores need to step it up! :/
I can understand your dilemma. But why wouldn't you just resort to ordering it online? Just curious.
Haha! And yes good ol fashion grass would do just fine!!!! :) :)

On-line.....well, speaking for myself, if I were to order it on-line, It´d have to be from the States, so I´d have to pay the postage..can you imagine the cost? Then I´d have to pay import duties, which is usually half the value of whatever´s imported. Well, it just isn´t worth it...And it often isn´t worth it for the feedstores either.
Grass is usually plentiful, and free, or pretty well. And it´s their natural food. It just needs to be good grass.

Yeah, my feed store doesn't sell water fowl feed, either. Ducks just aren't gaining backyard popularity as fast as chickens are, unfortunately. Chick feed is fine, plus it's fun getting an excuse to spoil your birds with grass and other treats.
