Aww I love cross-species friendship!A friend of mine in New Orleans had a feral rooster adopt her. She never knew where it roosted, but everyday it came to visit her dog. She caved and bought scratch for him, and trapped him in her garage during the last hurricane. He was gorgeous.
Yikes! That sounds creepy af!!! Maybe some santaria ritual or something??? I don’t even wanna think about it.I think my stray escaped a fighting ring too. Down the road they have about 20 roosters, no hens. The recycling guy told me how about a month ago there was about 15 plucked chickens in the recycling toter. He doesn't know which house they came from. Not sure why someone would completely pluck and try to recycle chickens?
