abandoned rooster

i'm not sure if this is the right forum, feel free to relocate if need be. ~~~it is kind of an emergency

some girl set a rooster out in front of my house this morning.....i actually watched her but could not see exactly what she was doing or i would have stopped her.

so i didn't notice him until later, when my rooster had already beat him up.

i have captured him and need to get rid of him.

any ideas or willing takers? i don't care if you keep him or eat him.....

Probably need to post in buy-sell-trade. You can put it as "free to good home" We tried here, and finally had to go on Craigslist. Be careful of cockfighting operations, though. They will use them as "sparring partners" even if they don't fight.

the humane society took him. because he was "abandoned", she said they had to. must be a NC law.
anyway, hopefully things will work out for him.

I have yet to have a chicken dropped off but I have had my fair share of cats and dogs dropped at our farm. It's despicable. If I were to ever catch someone dumping an animal, I would punch them right in the nose. A life is a life. A chickens' life should be treated with the same respect and dignity as a humans'.
