Abnormal egg

:welcome I'd provide a supplemental calcium source. The bird may be about to take a break in her laying cycle - this sometimes results in a weakening of egg shells.
OK thank you. Does this mean she could be starting to molt?

Too much treats..which would be more than one tablespoon full worth of scratch or scraps per day per bird could cause thin shells.
Certain respiratory disease can too.

Stop all treats for a few weeks and see if this continues.

Can you get a video of the sound the one is making?
Oh wow! A table spoon. I'm definitely giving them to much scratch. I'll put a stop to that for a while and see what happens. I'll try to take a video in the morning. At work at the moment.

I had a hen give me this after we had the roof of our house repaired / new roofing put on last spring. The hammering and sawing stressed her out so much, her eggs were messed up for well over a month. This was one of the worst ones. I wonder if your hen had stress recently too?

That's a possibility. We do ride dirtbikes and atvs and also some target practice but that's not something that just started.
