Abnormal toe swelling on my bantam rooster

Our rooster Elvis is about 2 years old now and since he’s a bantam, he has weird feet. He seemed to have sometimes had a limp when he walks but it never stopped him from getting around. We noticed that one of his toes is all swollen with a weird scab on the bottom. (See photos). As you can see, his nail is almost gone on that toe as well. It doesn’t seem to cause any pain when we touched it. Does anyone know what is wrong with his toe?
 
It looks like bumblefoot, a bacterial infection that enters the skin through a small cut. You can soak his feet in warm Epsom salts for 20-30 minutes for a few days to soften it. Then you can remove the scab and try to saueeze out the cheese-like plug on the inside. Surgery is sometimes needed to get it out. Here is a good link that has a video:
