I guess I have got two different flocks. They are three weeks apart and while the larger birds don't really pick on them they don't blend together. Will they eventually?
My older flock has five birds and they are alway uniform. They follow the rooster everywhere. The other flock is a mess. I have five over here and four over there all the time. Is this because (as far as I know) the younger flock does not have a rooster to lead them? The larger flock follow the roos commands at all times.
Anyone have any input?

I'm guessing that they will eventually become one flock. I also think that the Roo is the reason that the first flock is so 'organized'. Roos are great at keeping the girls together.

Thank you for your response.

I couldn't figure out why my babies were always running separate ways until dh mentioned they have no leader.

I sure hope they become a flock soon.
