About how many bantam eggs can a broody Silkie sit on?

I'm getting some Nankin Bantam eggs to hatch and I wanted to put them under some of my broody Silkies. How many should I put under each Silkie?

I'm not sure...I would like to know the answer too! I just got a couple silkies for just that purpose

Having not seen your Silkies and knowing that Silkies come in all different sizes it's hard to say. I have predominately Rhode Island Red Bantams and successfully set as many as 14 OEGB eggs under a Red hen.
