(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I’ve been around birds my whole life

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have currently about 24 quail

(3) What breeds do you have?
Japanese quail Texas a&m’s tuxedo, brown, Golden Italian just a mix

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love the access to fresh eggs and meat, and I just love how beautiful the breeds can be!


(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening/gaming and watching tv.


(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My wife and I have 3cats 3dogs 2ferrets. I’m a disabled veteran so I don’t get out much.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I did a search on google looking for some new blood lines for my birds and stumbled upon this site! And I like the idea of being in a community of like minded people.
