About perianal adenoma

Oh gosh, I'm sorry, I totally read that wrong! Again, I have no experience with this, never even heard of it before- I just thought it was odd to suggest neutering a dog of such an advanced age and figured the vet would've suggested it if it would help.

Having a vet that you trust is essential. Especially when caring for a senior dog. If you're really not confident in his expertise (or for any reason) then its time to find a new vet.
Read some local reviews, ask around, and get in to see a new vet. You can have all records sent to a new hospital so that they will not have to repeat tests.
You and your dog deserve a vet that you have confidence in.
I do trust him and the vet services here are too far away from my home n my dog doesn't like the car rides much so I can't really take him anywhere else then to him..
I just hope he is fine..

Depending on the size and exact location, some have it treated by laser therapy: Co2 or cryo.
But as you are living in India and a vet clinic is not in proximity, I don't know if your vet has the necessary equipment or is able to perform.

Let's see I'll take him to the vet tomorrow for cortisol test.
I hope he don't have cushing's..
Pray for him 🙏

What did the vet say?
He has cushing's..
His cortisol levels were 9 which has to be 6 ..
He said that we do further examination to confirm but he didn't have the facilities to do so.. and moreover in india there no medicine available to treat cushing's.
He has some enlarged liver and kidney stones so I'm giving him medicine for those .. he said try ketoconazole with hepamerz tablet for Cushing's..

Actually there is a medication called Trilostane that has been effective in controlling the signs of Cushings in dogs. But, using it requires follow up bloodwork that can be expensive and may be difficult for you to get.

Unfortunately he has several different issues, and at his age it may be hard to treat him successfully. Hopefully you and your vet can find a way to make him comfortable. So sorry so hear things have not gone well.

The medicine is not available in india .. and I know .. he prescribed him ketoconazole with hepamerz tablet for cushing's.. he said he will have some control over his pee issue.. and some other medicines for other issues.. I just don't want him to be in pain .. he's fed up of having the medicine but I'm trying my best to make him comfortable..
