Greetings,

My muscovy duck is getting ready to hatch her eggs! This completely blind-sighted me, and I am wondering a few things. Primarily, as we are getting on to winter, do I let them stay with their mother, or do I take them inside for the colder months. Please feel free to inform me of any other things I should be doing to keep the ducklings safe.

Leave them be. Where are you located? That duckling down is warmer than it looks. They will be fully feathered at about 2 months of age, so there's still time.
