I am rethinking getting a male and female . Because I don't know how easy it will be to get homes for the goslings.
These will be pets . So should I get , two males or two females?
I have a male and female ordered, but am rethinking it. Any comments?

If you have a pare you will be doing better then having 2 males or females and geese will live up to 30 years if taken care of properly

If you do not want goslings then just collect the egg's and you can use them for cooking cakes or making any kind of bread and works out real well

Some of these I have had over 30 years

Glad to have you here! I hope you find everything you need to know and good luck with your geese! Do not get two males. They will fight when they get older. Either get two females or a male and a female.

Welcome to BYC!

Sounds like you have been given great advice here. I don't know a thing about Geese, other than how pretty they are!

Great to have you aboard and enjoy your new adventure!
