About what time of day do hens lay?

mine lay 11am to 2 pm everyday

I was just fixing to make a post about this. My girls are free rangers and even though they have REALLY nice nesting boxes in their coop,they have NEVER laid inside there. So,every day I'm out searching the yard(and my yard is HUGE LOL) Last night about 6 PM I searched all over and found nothing. I thought it was strange to not even find 1 egg. So,right at dark I was out again and I ended up finding 2 eggs...they were in places I had searched at 6. So,my girls I guess,are just going to lay when ever they feel the need.

We have 9 hens. Our's lay from about 10 am up until around 7 pm.

Mine cycle. Early morning, then an hour later each day until it gets too late in the evening. When that happens they skip that day and start all over again the early the next morning or skip a day.

Mine just started but the ones that are laying seem to be before 7 am and then I get one or two after 9 am.

I'm worried about my chickens laying time wich is 10:00 - 11:00 and when it is work days and stuff no one will be home to collect the eggs. Will the chickens peck them and smash them or will they leave them alone?

Depends on the chickens I pick up every morning bc it's dark when I get off. I don't have problems.
