I wanted to let you know that I am also going through something similar. My husband joined the army in '06 and has been away a very long time and he filed for divorce this Oct. If you ever wanted to talk you could shoot me a pm and we could exchange numbers too if you like. I am glad to see your positive spirit about you... that will help you and the kids on your journey ahead.

LOL I Don't think Hanabal would be willing to be given away. He is quite the mommy's boy.

It is amazing how protected he makes me feel, even as a baby.

Yes, military life is incredibly hard and does make marriage much harder. I think my husband and I will manage to stay on friendly terms through the divorce and after, which is good. So far it is going rather peaceful.

I do think the new year will bring happiness. And no, we did not move. The move was to be with my husband on his return. So the children and I will remain here in Arkansas.

I too was thinking about you the other day. Not to get off topic but this is why...I made my husband get a deceased possum off of the side of the road just so I could check the pouch for babies

and I thought of you instantly

You have no clue how good it makes me feel when someone tells me about checking a dead opossum's pouch. Especially if I influenced that in any way.
