Though, I'm extremely confident with chickens and ducks... I'm completely new to pheasants and have been eyeballing some Red Goldens.

How much room is enough for them? I plan on making (if I go ahead with this) a aviary type thing in the woodline. I know they would prefer it there in a "forest" of sorts. I also plan on making a "jungle" inside the aviary with a combination of low growing shrubs and fake vines along the walls and perches... lots of perches.

Do they lay fairly well? I mean, what can you expect to breed from one pair?

What do you do with culls? Do you eat them same as ringnecks?

Thanks... looking forward to answers. [IMG]
