abused chickens help are there laws against this

oh it was gross the hens where in little cages just they didn't have room to stand and maybe two feet tall and 3 by 3 I would guess with 3 in there dome had rooster with them the floor was covered in poop and hay and trash like papers and stuff it smelled like mold I can't even put in into words how bad it was and they had chickens everywhere cramped together but the room with broody hens was worse they don't use incubators just let the hens sit in the eggs and it was tiny shelved cages on a wall with no room and really dirty bedding there was broke eggs on the floor and it was so bad.very bad and they had turkeys just running around loss so much more just neglect and an miss treatment most cages or coops I call them cages didn't have water or food. I hope the state does something about it fast.

I see where you are coming from with the filth that is the unacceptable part but the cage sizes are legal in a lot of states as I put pullets in to 3x3x3 cages for a week and sometimes two but plenty of water and feed as I measure the egg production and with my EE's always color as blue and pink egg layers are worth more money but I suspect you are really writing about the deplorable health conditions with the droppings on the floor and all around filth ...

it was lavender Orpington hens in the cages that size not baby's sorry I didn't make it clear
