Accidental Adoptive Mom of African Street Hen & LOVING IT!

Welcome! Oh my, what a story. You have a very big heart. Sending my best wishes for the health of your two hens, especially the rescue! I can't wait to hear more about your chicken adventures.
aww...thanks so much!! That's nice of you to say/write...I'm sure that the universe sent me this hen as I truly 'love' taking care of creatures and helping each individual with whom my path crosses, to survive/thrive..this little 'rescue' hen had already been coming when I 'called' her before she became set on brooding...the newer one was already old (and wise) enough, unfortunately, to be wary of humans, but I will just continue giving her her space and time. Anyway, in the meantime, I will try to candle & photograph a few eggs for the thread to see if anyone can help me figure out whether to remove or leave them. Thanks again!

aww..thanks/so sweet of you..it never ceases to amaze me how a/any suffering creature can usually recover with some good/appropriate food, access to a safe space and freedom such that they can 'relax' (however that looks for the particular species), a little medical care, and also that sort of intangible, special 'something' or energy one may think of as TLC(!)
