Accidental Barred Rock/Lavender Ameracauna cross. Male or female?

I only noticed the white dot on its head recently and thought that was odd for the other crosses I was trying to hatch bc they never had that before. Then i noticed how absolutely orange its legs were and it had stripey wings?!

(Then I noticed it has a crossbeak. )

Had to be a barred rock and the puffy cheeks say Ameracauna

I thought maybe because it had a small white dot and mostly dark with thin ish white bars on its wings....it would be a pullet?

But then I see the thick legs..
A comb already... about a week old

And the sex linking isn't guaranteed for this cross? So I'm really confused.

Any insight would be appreciated!

Depends who the Barred parent was, which would determine if it's sexlinked, or not.

Which breed would be the father, and which would be the mother?

Crossing them one direction gives color-sexable chicks, crossing the other direction does not. (Barred father gives male & female chicks with barring, but barred mother gives sons with barring and daughters without barring.)
