the first duck was an accident. the second duck was an on purpose because dang it, we needed more than just a little! my kids eat like pig dogs!!!

the pen that they are in has a bunch in it for butchering, it just happened that the one that got her noggin and foot crunched was NOT for butchering. i was not going to stand there and curse the situation, so i might as well allow it to bless us.

ohiofarmgirl...i think pix are fun too. it makes things more personal and shows that if one person can do something, anyone can.

i've been eyeballing a goose that has angel wing this week too.....

who was it that had the UGLIEST roast goose ever?? i guess the plucking went badly and then the hubby and kids skeedattled about the time she took it out of the oven? i thought that was hilarious.... hee hee hee
