I don't see any silkie feathering on that bird.

I'm sorry, it was hard to tell in that photo but the chick in the background looked like it had frizzled feathers. I know pictures can be misleading. Here are a few pics of mine, I look for squared blunt ends and a stacking affect on the feathers when identifying sizzles and frizzles and frazzlesThe chick in the background of the 3rd picture has the same rooster as a father, but a smooth satin as a mother.
