Accidental rooster (who we love) - need help with crowing please 😊

Hahahaha! Our next door neighbors have late parties and are always SUPER loud with their motorcycles. We have another neighbor with a huge loud diesel engine that starts between 6-7 and another neighbor with a dog who barks constantly . We only know that our rooster is bothering one of our neighbors because we have been very intentional in asking them. We definitely don't want to be one of those annoying neighbors!! I'm hoping that since they can see how hard we are trying that they are a little more understanding. I would be really bothered if my neighbor had a noisy rooster and didn't try to do something about it so I completely understand if they are too. We just love this guy so much I'm really hoping we can figure out a way to make it work!

Hopefully your neighbors are reasonable, compassionate people and will appreciate that you’ve been doing your best to muffle the noise, somebody suggested it earlier but offering them eggs is a good idea too. Perhaps you could invite them over to meet the birds? If they have kids maybe invite them over to introduce them to the birds instead? Probably best if they can’t touch them though, that could he dangerous. Best of luck with your boy and your neighbors!

Thank you so much!! We talked with the neighbors today and they said the insulation actually seemed to help and they were able to sleep in . Maybe this will work out after all, fingers crossed!!

If he gets saucy at all just be sure to let him know who’s boss, he’s already friendly so you’ve laid down the groundwork I guess you could say and you’ll be able to pick him up and carry his sassy butt around for a bit.
