Accidently set a double yolker....what now?

For me, I collect the eggs, leaving them on a cool counter in an egg carton, and tilt one side up on something...like if it was turning...and then as the day goes I turn it slowly again...alternating the sides, then before I place my eggs in the bator...I do candle and check...them ....I did notice a double yolk in the large one, ...but I went ahead and placed it in after seeing that you tube video...

you tube video do a search...twin checks hatching

I would try to hatch it.. I've seen some that have been helped and both survive.. it may die on its own also, which you'll also see when candling.. curiosity:pop gets me everytime

Well I recandled tonight and did not see any double yolkers? Weird. 1 egg looked a little different but was veining and had a single embryo, so I will recandle next week and leave them all in there.

When I first read about the double yoker I was excited thinking twins!

If it is like everyone says though I'd just pull the egg. Rather get rid of a egg now instead of a chick later. Good luck with it.
