Acting Drunk/Dizzy

It could be something like dehydration, a crop problem, or something as bad as Mareks disease. Check her crop now and again in early morning to make sure it is emptying. Look at her droppings for diarrhea or an odd color or blood. Give her water with electrolytes and vitamins, or some Polutry NutriDrench or Poultry Cell 2-3 ml daily. Not if she has any weakness in one or both legs or wings. Is her neck twisted down or to the side? Try to get her eating some chopped egg and wet chicken feed.

I have a 6mo old Frizzle hen that I noticed started acting like she's Drunk/Dizzy (trouble holding her head up and walking without falling over). Any ideas?...Thanks, Justin

Make sure she hasn't been poisoned by something! Rotten Cole crops such as cabbage can paralize and kill a chicken in a matter of hours. I lost a young rooster years ago this way. If it is possible she ate something rotten you can try to get some molasses in her.
