Thanks to all that offer me input.
I have a 11 month old Delaware pullet
Symptoms: lethargy, poo is very loose with lots of urates? (white stuff), no signs of worms
Otherwise... eating her favorite foods, not puffed up, no swelling or drainage, no sneezing or gasping, abdomen does not feel tight or hard.
Our weather has been warm, 85-90, but not extreme, and when not free ranging, she is kept in a shaded area.
No new chickens added to the flock in the last month.
No eggs today, but I don't know if she laid yesterday or not.
Treatment thus far: brought her inside for the last 24 hours for watching. Given vitamins, hard boiled egg, banana, blueberries, watermelon, and mealworms. She will eat those, and her crop feels full right now. I will check her crop again in the morning.
I was thinking of giving her some ACV, but I wasn't sure how much to use, is there a regular dose, and a "medicinal" dose? I also bought some Tylan 50 just to have on hand, but I have not treated her with that.
Any thoughts?
