I just ran across some info on apple cider vinegar for chickens. Can you put it in chicks water as well? How much? I know you have to use plastic waters.

I do not usually give the ACV to the baby chicks until they are at least a month old. For them I do 1 tsp to a gallon of water. I can't say it bad to give to them earlier I just don't know b/c I've never given it that young

On the other hand I give my flock once a week (for the past 4+ years)1 TB to a gallon of water in each pen and since then they have been super healthy and no sickies (knock on wood) In a very very long time.
