ACV & Yogurt

They all eat meatbird crumbles for now. If I set up a butcher pen in the future I'd probably offer a decent amount of scratch the last week or two.

I like to feed Purina Flock Raiser with a side of oyster shell ... throwing back egg shells ... don't use "mixed scratch" but do like to toss some plain cracked corn occasionally ... they also like chunks of cheese! ;) Chicks can get a mix of yogurt/raw egg/feed ...

All chickens also "scratch" for whatever they can find outside ... bugs, worms, grasshoppers, seeds, weeds ...

I like ACV for cleaning out the waterer's ... Just dump out old water ever few weeks ... dump some ACV in ... swish around, maybe scrub with a plastic scrubie, then dump and rinse lightly ... Don't bother with getting all the ACV out ... it gets blended with the water, and diluted more with each top up, the chickens don't seem to mind.

The French feed milk for much longer than two weeks ... for months actually ...
