Adams County PA - where can I buy 20 week layers?

Can anyone make a recommendation for where we can get 8 laying pullets? I'm aware of some poulty farms near Lancaster but would like to keep the business local if possible. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, no real answer for you. Just thought I'd say hello from up the street.

When I was looking for pullets, I was lucky and found a match here on BYC in the buy/sell/trade forum. Other than that, it seems like everyone I talk to locally finds chickens through the word of mouth. Everyone who I talk to "has a friend who has a friend who..." Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone this year who is trying to find a home for 20 month pullets. Good luck to you. Hope you find what you are looking for.

I happened to see your post and I just saw a sign today at Lehman's Feed store in York Springs, PA that they'll have some 20 week ladies coming in if you're still looking. Their phone number is 717-528-4119. Kim is the wonderful lady that usually helps me. Hope this helps!
