Add me to the list of Dumped! Central Indiana

He is a lovely looking dog, and I am so GLAD he was dumped on you! ....tis a sad world we now live in that people cannot afford to feed their animals, but dump them hoping they can fend for themselves... sad indeed..........

and bravo to you! ....... wish I could have taken him for you, he is gorgeous!

Well, we have good news!! A friend of my daughter's came last night and fell in love with the little guy, even better the dog really took to him!! Shawn, DD's friend, has 2 children that recently lost their dog to old age and this little guy will be their new family pet. The little dog got right in his vehicle (after going potty first) and sat right by his side with his head in Shawns's lap. It was such a good feeling to know this little guy has a second chance and I didn't have to send him to the big scary pound! Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement!

now you should alet the police to the fact there was a dog dumped and has been rehomed,
so many people have no recourse but to do this , it is very sad,
Shelters are over run with pets that were given up, most of them in this area charge to take in animals.
If people could afford to pay the shelter to take it they could also feed and take care of it, making it unnecessary to dump them some where.

Please do not get the idea that I am condoning dumping the animals on some one like happened to you. I do not.
I get that here also, I am a regular paying member of the "Dumped it " crowd.
Beautiful animals dumped off on a main highway, of course my home looks inviting, and if I dont catch it before a vehicles does,. its sad, frustrating, and annoying, best we can do is hope and pray it stops and all animals have a warm comfy bed to sleep at night.
I also feel once the economy turns around and people get back to work again there will be less and less abandoned animals.

Thanks for the kind thoughts! Talked to DD this morning and he had a great night, his name is Chief and the kids are so thrilled to have him. He is potty trained and whined to be let out which I am really happy about. Chief likes to jump up a little but I think that is from lack of attention and he will settle nicely. I am just elated that Chief was so well received and I know in my heart he will have a forever home!!
