Add One Sentence to the Story

Just when Joleen thought they would leave her alone they started to taunt"We're almost there sweetheart." Joleen can only imagine what they might to her and Ming.

Aria had been left with the waitress as Joleen sped off to the police station surely forgetting the twelve year old. "Well at least she left me with someone responsible." Aria assumed the waitress was at least seventeen probably came here for a summer job to start to save up for her college career if she even had one. Aria knew nothing about the waitress other than her name was Opal and that Opal was dedicated to helping Aria find her two friends after watching those strange robed men take Joleen away.

It was around 6 o' clock when Opal finally got off work. "All right let's go find them." "Shouldn't we go talk to the police?" Opals look told her otherwise "No why? We can handle it ourselves. You see in the day I'm your mild mannered bubbly waitress but after work hours I'm-"
"A bubbly detective." Aria replied.

Opals shook her head. "No quite, but I do help people." She said. Aria smiled at her relieved that she was going to help her. Opals was guiding Aria over to a car that was down the street. When they got there, Opals took out some keys and opened the door. She stood there until Aria decided to get inside.

Aria in the back of her mind had feared that Opal was part of the strange cult that had been tracking them down. But for some odd reason Aria could trust Opal past the bubbly detectives eye's she could see hurt and loss perhaps even from the same people. Aria climbed in the car "Great! They'll most likely be coming after you next so it's good to have protection. You can trust me." Opal turned the keys and they drove off unaware of the black suburban that followed closely behind.

The car that had Joleen in it, finally came to a stop again. After a moment, the doors opened and she was roughly taken out. She tripped on her own feet and fell. With her hands tied, she had no way to cushion her fall. So she ended up biting her lip with the impact. She felt two of them grabbed her again and carried her up some wooden steps. They entered some type of building, a house most likely. It was quite a drive to get there. they then took her to a back room and threw her on the bed, then locked the door as it left. She then heard a soft sobbing in the far corner. "Ming?"

"Joleen is that you?" Ming asked coming out of the corner. His hands were bound like hers but that didn't stop him from coming and embracing her "What happened to your lip?" Blood ran down her face from where she bit it "Nothing that you need to worry about." Ming sat on the bed alongside Joleen. It didn't take very long for both of them to wonder "Where's Aria?"

(Dramatic music playing!)

Opal was driving a short while, when she noticed the black suburban behind them. She made four right turns to make sure. Yeah they were definitely being followed. "Well, I hate to say it, but we have company." That's when the suburban tried to come around them. But, Opal speed up, in order to keep them from getting cut off.
