She stewed in her disgruntled state. Blaming the strict mandates of society, for limiting her freedoms. Who were they to deemed what was proper and fitting for females. Joleen rolled her eyes to self.

Jolee thought hard then scooted out of the row and headed around the corner to the bathrooms. She went into the bathroom and fixed her hair in case anybody inside or outside was there. Jolee opened the door and doubled back to a closet. Jolee went to the back and out the old door in the wall set there from since days of need. She adjusted her eyes to the bright light then saw Ming and Aria grabbing a bus.

She decided that she was going to spy on them. she liked the idea of following them about town, to see what they had planned. She'd be a voyeur of his freedom. At least for the day. So hurried over, to try and catch the bus. Joleen had borrowed a cloak, she had no fear that he would recognizer.

Jolee made a quick decision and grabbed her bike. Then she put the bike in the bike rack and hopped on the bus. Jolee sat in the seat opposite the driver and made sure to look in the mirrors for her brother. Ming and Aria seemed to be talking about rabbits. Aria had a new litter of kits and she thought Ming would possibly want one.''Rabbits?'' Thought Jolee. ''But we can't -not possibly- have rabbits because...

Her parents didn't believe in keeping pets. Only animals it served a purpose either by contributing food or ones that help bring money with their fur coats. they would never let them have a frivolous pet, like a rabbit. Without it eventually going into the stew pot. Her brother was setting himself up for heartache. Joleen surmised.

She couldn't handle the stress anymore so she walked out.

Jolee was kind enough that she didn't want her brother's heart to break. She finally could bear it no longer. She stood up and walked to him and said ''Not a rabbit, a CHICKEN! Mom and Dad won't let us keep one, and you know it! Chickens, lay eggs!

"but what about the easter bunny?" Jolee rolled her eyes at her brothers comment "Rabbits don't lay eggs, not even the easter bunny."

 

[Chook-Girl]

Jolee blurted out. ''There is no thing as the easter bunny!'' Ming suddenly wept and cried out, ''YOU! YOU CRUSHED MY DREAMS! NO EASTER BUNNY?!??!!!?!?!? LIAR!''

Jolee rolled her eyes "Grow up, how could an easter bunny lay eggs, Plastic eggs!!!!"
