Add straw around nest and a little remodel next to goose nest

Can you give here a covered box with lots of bedding material to build a nest out of. Over cover is really attractive for a nest. Even a large dog crate can work. We did give them a shelter and lock them inside during night. It's covered with straw. But Christmas seems very rebellion and has her free will Lol. We consider to build a area with fence surrending the nest, also roof to keep them dry. Only concern is: remodel too much to drive mama goose away.

My nesting boxes are all in the barn the girls usually lay in the morning but the ones that lay latter return to the barn. I have a friend that did the 55 gallon thing he is having some luck with his small geese. This is what I did they love the covered area
