Add weight to eggs during incubation?

I have some eggs in my incubator and I have been charting their weight loss for the first time ever. I was shooting for a total of 15% weight loss. The eggs were losing weight too fast for the first few days, so I increased the humidity from 30% to 45%. A few days after I increased the humidity to 45% I noticed that each egg weighed more than it previously did. I didn't think that egg weight could increase in the incubator. Does anyone know if/how this is possible?

They can't gain weight back after they've lost it, so I would think it's probably a problem with the scale. Did you weigh them in something and forget to tare the scale after you put what you were weighing them in on the scale, maybe? Or did you use a different scale from last time?
