Add your vote! BackYard Chickens in Cedar Rapids, IA

I voted, Cedar Rapids is near enough to where I live so that I don't feel like I'm sticking my nose in where it's not wanted. The comments after the article are pretty ignorant, and so far nobody's even attempted to refute them -- one person is sure that back yard chickens spread bird flu, another calls having chickens a "third world country" look, and yet another says that back yard chickens will "stink" . . . and "I didn't move to the city to live next to farm animals!"

Somebody please, write a well-educated, pro-chicken comment! It kills me to read all that negativity!

True, but if in your area they wouldnt allow chickens wouldnt you want support from someone else even if in another state? I can definalty see what you are saying and agree in some ways.
