Thanks folks. I have switched it around the other way to blow upwards. I could see how distributing the hotter air directly towards the water could lead to an increase in evaporation adding to the humidity in the incubator. Even though people responding that they have great hatches the other way, I think logic points toward what Baraiak has said. Thanks again. Let's see if I can get these temperatures right before going to bed.
