Added IP Camera to be able to check on chickens

They come with a 110 house plug with about 5 feet of cord but all mine actually use 5V DC so running them off batteries or solar can be done.

If you want you can give out this address http://cam.wmstory.com:81/live.htm if you dont want people to mess with the settings. There should also be a way to sink the ID and password in to the URL so they dont have to type it in. Yep, by adding ?usr=chicken&pwd=coop

The cams are nice in the way I can set admin, operator and visitor level accounts. Only Admin can make changes to the setting. Operator can move the cam and visitors can only look.

To share the cam here on BYC I created an operator level account to share so people can try out the cam controls. Normally I would have limited access to viewing only.

These tilt/pan cameras are indoor cameras. The all weather cams tend to be fixed position.

No, not really. I have had to replace one before but dont know for sure why. I even spilled water on one an its still going. The one in the brooder has been pooped on pretty bad to an its still going. I have had to replace several power supply cords though. There not water tight though.
