Adding 3 Week old Chicks to older Chicks

Hi There,

I have four 7 week old chicks with one of them being a rooster, since we can't keep the Roo and I'm already addicted to the chicken life I want to add more hens to my home. I can purchase some 4-5 week old Delaware chicks from the feed store but I'm wondering if it is ok to mix an additional four chicks in with my current 3 hens who are 7 weeks old. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

hmm, id say theyd probably do ok, but id be cautious myself ... first id get a big box and get the new ones used to me feeding them a couple days, so they were a bit acclimated .. then id get them all hungry so theyre focused on food and give it a go ..
