Hello! This is my first post.
I am seeking advice in regards to adding chicks to one lonely chick. It was my first time incubation and so far I got have had only one chicken hatch who is in my brooder all alone right now. Since I have a staggered hatch, I’m hoping I will have a couple more hatching today or tomorrow. Just in case I’m not successful, Im considering going to my local feeds store to buy six chicks to add to the one chick.
Does anybody have any experience doing this? I don’t want my one chick to be lonely unless I have to but I also don’t want to introduce any diseases.
Thanks!
