adding a bigger chick to younger

so i wanted to see how my bigger chick is with the littes, so far he lets them poke them and eat with them but he lays on the ground with his wings up? what does this mean

Agree... He's "sunbathing". They look awefully funny when they do so - and sometimes the contortions they pull makes them look like dead bodies!
