Hello! Hopefully somebody will be able to give me some pointers on this.
My parents have some hens and one of them gets bullied so often that I have decided to permanently separate her. Last time I tried to incorporate her into the flock, the bullying was so bad they removed half of her comb
. They all grew up together, but suddenly she was getting picked on.....I guess one day they decided that her eggs were too perfect and wanted to take her out. She is doing much better now, but I can't keep her forever in the small space she is at.
I recently got myself four chickens, they are about 7 weeks old now. At what age should I try and put this hen with them? I'm hopeful the bullying won't be as awful for her with the new girls.
