I have a lone ringneck cockerel and someone has pheasant chicks nearby, and I don't know if I can resist. His coop is ten feet long by six feet wide and six feet tall, is that big enough for a pair? He has two quail with him and is great with them, but I know pheasants are aggressive.

Oh good. Spring is probably not the best time to add her though, right?
Not if you were expecting to hatch any of the eggs....she may accept him or not, and vice-versa. It's best to pair them up in the fall, well before the breeding season.

Depends on her age and how you introduce to watch and see how he does with her.
Adding a divider to the pen a possibility?
I wanted a young one, but now I can't find any. Dividing would be hard with the one door, but I could figure something out while they were getting used to each other.
