Adding a Speckled Sussex?

SS's are wonderful. We have 1 hen, had a roo, and gave away one
pullet who we understand is doing well and very friendly (Ask Mudhen).

We have 2 Campines and have had others. They are unfriendly and
skittish. I know there are exceptions but we haven't seen it yet.

Our Buff Orps are great. They aren't aggressive. My biggest concern
would be they would get picked on by your current birds.


I think the Sussex would adjust to a flock the quickest and make the nicest
addition.

I have 2 SS and they are the most friendly and curious girls I have. They have very sweet dispositions and the only chicken they will stand up to is the beta roo. Otherwise they get picked on by my RIR and sex links.
I don't have a Campine. My Buff Rocks are also sweet, only they more shy than the SS.
