Adding buff orpingtons to group of Barred Hollands

We finally had to give up on putting the BO's in with our Barred Hollands. They never did hurt them, but they kept them away from the food and water and anytime they ventured out of the corner they were assigned to, the Hollands rushed at them and scared them back into the corner. Because the BO's are so easily bullied and won't fight back they just did not stand a chance. We tried keeping them in a cage next to the big pen for a couple of weeks, and then putting them in the coop at night but it just did not work. We gave the BO's back to the friend we got them from and they are happily chicken tractoring along.
