Adding chicks to chicks

You can always put them together and watch for about 30 minutes. If something were to happen, you would know right away. We have chicks all the time here, mixed together, but usually within a few weeks.

I agree. I did this a month ago; two day-old chicks and two three week olds. It wasn’t ideal, but my older ones were gentle and very nice to the littles. They all get on great now. Pic of when we initially brought the little babies home and let them meet. I will say, we did have ample space, I wouldn’t have done it if it was close quarters.
Great advice. I have two 6 week olds that were raised with a hen. They have been part of the flock since 2 weeks of age. I'm getting 6 day old chicks next week and will be putting them into the brooder/ grow out pen inside the coop so all can see the babies. Should I wait longer than 2 weeks to introduce them to the flock?
