adding geese eggs to already incubating eggs after incubation of 1 wee

I'M NEW AT THIS,,,,FIRST TIME. I HAVE MY GEESE EGGS IN AN OCTAGON 20 ECO INCUBATOR, MANUAL TURN. I HAVE 4 EGGS WHICH I STARTED 1 WEEK AGO. CAN I ADD 2 MORE NOW? I CANDLED YESTERDAY & I THINK 2 ARE NOT GOING TO DEVELOP AS THERE IS NO SIGN OF CHANGE IN YOLK FROM THE 1ST DAY. DO I NEED TO JUST LEAVE THEM A FEW MORE DAYS? I APPRECIATE ANY HELP.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellll...technically I think we are suppossed to discourage you from doing that unless you have another machine that can be used exclusively as a hatcher....but it is so hard to stick to that rule.

THANKS FOR THE INPUT, BUT TECHNICALLY WHAT OR WHY IS THE REASON ADDITIONAL EGGS CAN'T BE ADDED? I'VE SEARCHED THE WEB AND CAN'T FIND THIS OUT.

Hatching creates a hugemess, so there is more chance that the incubating eggs can be contaminated with bacteria.

I'm doing it though.

I have two incubators and both are full. My first hatch starts Tuesday-Wednesday and then they pretty much continue on every few days for the next several weeks. My problem was that I was mistakenly sent 20 duck eggs when I only purchased 4 goose eggs.

Threw everything off, but what could I do but put those little babies in?

SO YOU PUT THE EGGS IN SEVERAL WEEKS LATER AFTER THE ORIGINAL BATCH STARTED INCUBATING? HAVE THEY HATCHED YET? HOW DID THEY TURN OUT? THIS IS MAKING ME CRAZY! LOL

WELL, I WENT AHEAD AND ADDED THE TWO NEW EGGS WHICH I COLLECTED ONE YESTERDAY(SAT.) AND THE OTHER THURSDAY. THEY WILL BE ONE WEEK BEHIND THE OTHERS WITH HATCHING. I'VE PONDERED AND SCRATCHED MY HEAD AND BIT MY NAILS ALL DAY...LOL WHAT TO DO .....IF I LEAVE THEM OUT AND WAIT ON HER(MOM GOOSE) TO START INCUBATING THEY MIGHT BE TOO OLD OR A PREDITOR GET THEM. SO I JUST PUT THEM IN THE INCUBATOR AND I FEEL GOOD NOW. I COULD OF JUST SCRAMBLED THEM IN THE MORNING AND TOPPED WITH CHEESE!LOL NAW!!!NEVER
