Adding Muscovies to normal duck flock?

If you were closer I would give you one of my drakes. I have two drakes and only one female 🫣 (predator issues recently) He is a year old. That way you would only need to buy females.

I would offer 4 females to one drake. That seems to be the going ratio with my Muscovies anyway.

Just got them home. Got 2 piebal hens, a solid white hen & lavender drake

I got two Muscovy Ducklings and one ended up being a Drake and one a Hen. My Drake ended up weighing 15 pounds and was absolutely huge. He mated every duck he could get ahold of but his favorite was one of my older Rouens. He had their feathers near their tails all torn off and had made under their wings bald. I had to rehome him as even in Drake Jail with my Mallard/Rouen Drake he tried to mate him! He was so hard on my Hens so hopefully yours will not be. Mine did not care what breed they were and was fast enough to catch them. I hope you have good luck with yours. Mine never wanted to mate his sister Muscovy, just all of my Mallard breed Hens.
