Adding new chicks

Hello all,
I was wondering if it’s possible to add new chicks to two week old chicks. I have a Barred Rock with 5 two week old chicks. Can I add new chicks at night? If so what are the chances of success? Also if it is possible what age should the new chicks be. Thank You.

Just to clarify, do you mean you have a BR hen with 5 chicks? I don't think you can give more chicks to her at this time, she'll likely consider them intruders and drive them away or attack them.

Yes, have a BR with 5 two week old chicks. I was curious to know if I could sneak the new ones in at night, or if she wold definitely reject them in the morning.

Pretty sure she'll reject or attack them. Also if the new chicks are the same age as the others, it's unlikely they'll graft onto "mama."
