I make my own feed for my Muscoveys and add it all the time. Not much but a little for the winter time when they don't get enough green stuff. I also add pond fish food so they get some animal protein. Feed here can't contain it anymore and I believe I was having a problem with them lacking certain things in their diet and since I changed it to my custom diet I have not had any problems.
