Adding Two New Girls Tonight

I just put three new BO (13 wks old) in with my 8 (18 wks old) (7 hens/1 rooster). Did it at night. Next morning all were still on the roost...bty all went into a brand new coop - so neutral territory. this is day 2, will be third night. The new girls are still being picked on and stay by themselves. When the big girls go out in the run the new BO's will come down and eat/drink,,,,,when the big girls come into the coop the BO's will slip out to the run. But its still a running battle at this time...I hope it stops soon but I know this is the chicken way. When the big girls sit by the pop door, the new BO's will not go thru...I think they do it on purpose.

All seems to be going well so far, very little pecking going on. Most of the pecking is coming from the RIR, who is definitely in charge.
