We've had a variety of chickens for several years and they do very well for us. We live on 6 wooded acres in Northern KY, with a creek running the property. We've thought about the possibility of adding wood ducks to the group at large for the last couple years and are curious as to whether anyone else has done this successfully.
Obviously due to their cost, I do not want to jump in unprepared. Any advice, cautions, etc that anyone can offer would be great.
Our flock currently consists of several low key breeds that intermingle very well with each other.
