Adjustable height waterer

OK, I am pretty new at this BYC stuff - now in our 6th week and second batch of peeps.
There is much we have learned from this site! - TY all for contributing.
Hoping that I may be able to contribute something myself - an adjustable height watering/ Feeder stand.

I am not sure why the pics are sideways, the originals are up and down. My first attempt downloading pics to this forum

The pipes can be slid up and down the PVC holder rings - if tension is correct (being screwed in just right) then the pipe can be slid up and down without changing the screw)

Good idea for keeping foreign matter out of the water , I just put the water on a board..

Great - that should work as well!

My thought was the height needed to adjust for the vast growth of the birds - increasing the length of the legs accordingly by sliding them up and down.
Just a thought

Well all last winter there were many trends on just that subject and I do believe there are several different methods used to fix the problem from a hot plate under a water dish to a dog bowl that plugs in and even ceramic plate to place water bowls on ....

Yup,

I believe I read them all or most of them - I am going to replace my vertical nipple with horizontals, use an aquarium heater in 4" PVC pipe and a circulating pump.
